It ended up getting postponed until the spring due to more snow. About 20 of us ended up going to the center today anyway. It was a lot of fun & we got to spend time with the residents.
Afterwards we went to hang out at Fuzzy's with Santa Eddie.

Independent Bikers 23rd Annual Toys for Tots
Independent Bikers 23rd Annual Toys for Tots to benefit the Bernard Fineson facility
This is a big one that we have attended for years with many friends.
This year the run will be different since it's going to the Queens Village facility.
Due to what is being called "The Blizzard of 2003" this run has been re-scheduled for next Sunday December 14th.

Annual turkey run
sponsored by IDon'tKnow M/C to benefit the St. John of God Outreach Center (pictures)
An hour before the start time there were already over 1,000 bikes waiting to go.
We started from the end of the first block. The end looked to be about 3 blocks away with motorcycles 8 deep across the street.
One girl brought her dog along. In the morning he was wearing his leather jacket & cap; when it came time to ride he had on his sunglasses & a bandana. He also enjoyed a nice helping of baked ziti at the party afterwards!
A lot of people bailed on the party afterwards, including everyone we met up with, but that really thinned the crowd out. We had a good time hanging out, listening to the band & eating. I won the 50/50 again & a shirt from WBAB. We also were talking with Bubba, who won a 6 foot trophy for bringing in a 41 pound turkey, his son & some of his friends. Wonder how he brought that home, huh??

3rd annual VA hospital run
sponsored by the Leathernecks MC
This was a lot of fun. We got to have breakfast with veterans. They showed us all the cards the local scool kids had made them the previous week for Veteran's Day. I spent most of my time chatting with 2 WWII Navy men, it was very interesting.

2003 Food & Toy Run
presented by ABATE of Eastern Suffolk to benefit St. Mary's Church in the Hamptons
It was FREEZING today, especially considering our ride was right along the shore. Mother Bernadette blessed every single motorcycle, one at a time.

9th annual Tombstone Tour
sponsored by American Spirit Motorcycle Club
We didn't take any pictures since it was a little rainy but we had a lot of fun running to all the cemeteries & getting lost with a few friends we hooked up with. I won the 50/50 & door prize, 2 friends won door prizes, & another friend won with the winning poker hand.

2nd Annual "FALLEN HEROES"
Riders of Fire Motorcycle Club 2nd Annual "FALLEN HEROES" Memorial Motorcycle Run (pictures)
We see the September 11th tribute bike at a lot of events and finally took some pictures. My wife met the owner and dumb ass that she is said no when he offered to take a picture of her sitting on it.
Just some pictures of us riding. Unfortunately not all of them came out. It was a cool thing to see; miles of bikes jamming up the LIE on a beautiful Sunday morning.
The ride ended at the Brookhaven Fireman's Park in Ridge, New York.

Ride for the Heroes
Ride for the Heroes
This run was missed because my bike was still in the shop after getting rammed in the ass at a dead stop. We had really wanted to make this ride since we lost a firefighter friend on 9-11 & my wife is very involved with things related to that day, plus it also happened to fall on the day after her birthday.
We are definitely making it in 2004!

Myrtle Beach - Bike week 2003
This was a guys only trip. Mr Ballbreaker did ask me to go but it was during Mother's Day, & no other women were going so I passed. Some of the pictures are crappy because I edited them back before I knew how to edit them properly.
