motorcycle show at the Javitz Center
This was way too crowded. The good thing was going with a group so it turned into a fun day.

23rd Annual Toys for Tots - again
It ended up getting postponed until the spring due to more snow. About 20 of us ended up going to the center today anyway. It was a lot of fun & we got to spend time with the residents.
Afterwards we went to hang out at Fuzzy's with Santa Eddie.

Independent Bikers 23rd Annual Toys for Tots to benefit the Bernard Fineson facility
This is a big one that we have attended for years with many friends.
This year the run will be different since it's going to the Queens Village facility.
Due to what is being called "The Blizzard of 2003" this run has been re-scheduled for next Sunday December 14th.

Annual turkey run
sponsored by IDon'tKnow M/C to benefit the St. John of God Outreach Center (pictures)
An hour before the start time there were already over 1,000 bikes waiting to go.
We started from the end of the first block. The end looked to be about 3 blocks away with motorcycles 8 deep across the street.
One girl brought her dog along. In the morning he was wearing his leather jacket & cap; when it came time to ride he had on his sunglasses & a bandana. He also enjoyed a nice helping of baked ziti at the party afterwards!
A lot of people bailed on the party afterwards, including everyone we met up with, but that really thinned the crowd out. We had a good time hanging out, listening to the band & eating. I won the 50/50 again & a shirt from WBAB. We also were talking with Bubba, who won a 6 foot trophy for bringing in a 41 pound turkey, his son & some of his friends. Wonder how he brought that home, huh??

3rd annual VA hospital run
sponsored by the Leathernecks MC

This was a lot of fun. We got to have breakfast with veterans. They showed us all the cards the local scool kids had made them the previous week for Veteran's Day. I spent most of my time chatting with 2 WWII Navy men, it was very interesting.
