Nothing means spring like the rumble of a Harley. We had a lot of snow this year so poor Junior has been tucked away in the garage since November. Now don't worry too much; he has his own wool rug, 2 blankets, heat, & whatever hubby plugs him into all winter. I have a feeling Junior will be going out any day now; hubby had him running over the weekend & almost all of the snow is gone.

New home
I know I was terrible about updating in 2005 & 2006 but sometimes it's a lot of work. I also have my own site to keep up plus all the other stuff I do. Mr. Ballbreaker doesn't help me with his site so it sometimes goes to the bottom on my list of priorities.
We have relocated this year from New York to Pennsylvania...no helmet laws. I'm sure we will have plenty to do this year!
To go along with our new state & new house I've given the site a new home too.

4th annual Ride for the heroes
Ride for the heroes to honor those lost on September 11th 2001.
It's so weird how things work. Last year I was totally pissed that we missed this run. this year hubby is part of the club that sponsors the run. It was a very long day & it was extremely hot but it was a good day. The only reason I don't have more pictures is because I did a lot of video taping.

Laconia ~ bike week
June 10th - 20th
Laconia ~ bike week
We left NY early Sunday morning & made our way to New Hampshire. Some of our friends were going to be there the next day & staying at our hotel plus there were a few who said they might show up at the end of the week.
We had a ton of fun! Of course the main thing we did was ride. It was nice to be able to take the helmets off especially since it got pretty hot a few days. We met a bunch of people, some cool some way weird. Met people from all of the states, from Canada & Ireland.
The only bad points were:
1. I got bit by a spider like our third day there, my arm blew up & I felt like crap so I spent most of that day sleeping.
2. Vince Neil was there the night before we were leaving so hubby wouldn't take me. He told me I was welcome to go alone but if I overslept or fell off the bike on the way home too bad LOL
Our trip home it started pouring rain so hubby sent me to ride in the truck with some of the guys who were towing. Once it let up I got back with him. We were pretty tired by the time we got to Connecticut so we decided to hop on the ferry & relax a bit on the way back to Long Island.

23rd Annual Toys for Tots - again
It ended up getting postponed until the spring due to more snow. About 20 of us ended up going to the center today anyway. It was a lot of fun & we got to spend time with the residents.
Afterwards we went to hang out at Fuzzy's with Santa Eddie.

Independent Bikers 23rd Annual Toys for Tots to benefit the Bernard Fineson facility
This is a big one that we have attended for years with many friends.
This year the run will be different since it's going to the Queens Village facility.
Due to what is being called "The Blizzard of 2003" this run has been re-scheduled for next Sunday December 14th.

Annual turkey run
sponsored by IDon'tKnow M/C to benefit the St. John of God Outreach Center (pictures)
An hour before the start time there were already over 1,000 bikes waiting to go.
We started from the end of the first block. The end looked to be about 3 blocks away with motorcycles 8 deep across the street.
One girl brought her dog along. In the morning he was wearing his leather jacket & cap; when it came time to ride he had on his sunglasses & a bandana. He also enjoyed a nice helping of baked ziti at the party afterwards!
A lot of people bailed on the party afterwards, including everyone we met up with, but that really thinned the crowd out. We had a good time hanging out, listening to the band & eating. I won the 50/50 again & a shirt from WBAB. We also were talking with Bubba, who won a 6 foot trophy for bringing in a 41 pound turkey, his son & some of his friends. Wonder how he brought that home, huh??

3rd annual VA hospital run
sponsored by the Leathernecks MC

This was a lot of fun. We got to have breakfast with veterans. They showed us all the cards the local scool kids had made them the previous week for Veteran's Day. I spent most of my time chatting with 2 WWII Navy men, it was very interesting.

2003 Food & Toy Run
presented by ABATE of Eastern Suffolk to benefit St. Mary's Church in the Hamptons
It was FREEZING today, especially considering our ride was right along the shore. Mother Bernadette blessed every single motorcycle, one at a time.

9th annual Tombstone Tour
sponsored by American Spirit Motorcycle Club
We didn't take any pictures since it was a little rainy but we had a lot of fun running to all the cemeteries & getting lost with a few friends we hooked up with. I won the 50/50 & door prize, 2 friends won door prizes, & another friend won with the winning poker hand.
